I could not finish this list without misty eyes.
I knew a lot of these people while attending John Muir and Burbank high.
After high school, with many of us going our way at different colleges, I lost touch, and vivid memories faded into vague ones.
Seeing this page brought back a flood of them. These friends will live in my heart.
I am surprised at how many died of cancer related illnesses.
My heart still goes out to their loved i es and close friends who had to bear the pain of witnessing their beloved deteriorate or die of tragic circumstances. It should not have been.
Be well my friends and take care of yourselves.

[…] We also found out about the deaths of Rudolph “Rudy” Maurer (born 12-4-48, died 12-4-2011) and Michael A. Olds (born 5-26-49, died 3-17-09 in Denver, CO at age 59). Jim Ranshaw, our chief detective in tracking down people, said that he actually spoke to Rudy when he was searching for classmates back in 2007-2008. Neither of these two guys, though, had senior photos in the Ceralbus. Too many people dying of cancer.
It has to be Burbank water.
Burbank has it’s own storage reservoir at the top of the hill.
The city, Burbank High, and the water are the common denominators
